commit c1b3839c0a9e1f90638dea5958a605d34d59699a
Author: Pat Ambrosio <cp.ambrosio@gmail.com>
Date: Tue Aug 25 13:13:00 2026 +0800

fix: tie footer to body via CSS custom properties, fix heading layout, improve separator

    FIXES:

    1. Footer alignment: Footer was at x=117 while body at x=421 because it used
       hardcoded margin-left: 6.82em while body used margin-left: calc(6.82em +
16em + 2em). Now both derive from --page-body-offset custom property so
       they cannot drift independently.

    2. Footer width: Footer was 459px (60ch) while body 540px due to different
width calculations. Now uses same margin-left source, ensuring geometric
alignment when viewport or layout changes.

    3. Title alignment: Title was orphaned at x=133 while body at x=421. Now uses
flex layout (.heading-page { display: flex }) so title spans full width
above both sidebar and body, with back arrow on the same line via
       flex-shrink: 0.

    4. Separator: "---" looked like unformatted markdown. Now renders as spaced
dots via CSS content: "\a0\a0\a0\a0\a0" with letter-spacing, subtle and
       readable as an intentional mark.

    TESTS:

Added specific tests that verify the tying mechanism works:
    - "the footer would drift if page-body-offset were not used" counts how
many rules reference var(--page-body-offset) - fails if footer is
      hardcoded separately
    - Tests for heading flex layout ensure title spans full width
    - Verify custom properties are used, not hardcoded dimensions

Regressions: 260 -> 263 (3 new tests added, all passing)
